Kate Gruetzner, Personal Lines Supervisor, has been active with Big Brothers Big Sisters of London and Area (BBBSOLA) for many years as a big sister. We proudly support Kate in her mission to provide opportunity for youth in our community.
About Big Brothers Big Sisters of London Area
By developing and overseeing mentoring relationships, Big Brothers Big Sisters of London and Area makes a proactive investment to help young people grow up happy, confident, healthy, and safe. Mentorship is a mutual learning and development partnership where the young person's needs are placed at the centre.
Mentoring is an important way to give youth experience with back-and-forth relationships. This helps to develop them into healthy young people that are better able to deal with and overcome life’s adversities. The primary goal of BBBSOLA is to support youth on their pathway to becoming resilient contributors and leaders in our community.
McConville Omni's Support
Kate is pictured here with Paul David, BBBSOLA Manager of Finance and Administration, and Savanna Harmon, BBBSOLA Mentoring Coordinator, as they accept our donation.
We were proud to contribute $500 through our charitable donation program to BBBSOLA. We also donated a set of four tickets to see the London Knights as a bonding activity for two pairs of brothers or sisters. McConville Omni seeks to provide opportunities for young members of our community to flourish and to support the organizations that are important to our staff. Kate's enthusiasm and passion for this life changing work is an inspiration.

“I’ve always wanted to get involved because it is a great organization and it’s volunteer work that’s very impactful – I am building a relationship with my Little to help her grow as a person. I’m there to support her and provide guidance and advice where I can and make sure she always has someone to talk to who she’s comfortable with.”
